Why UniFi?
UniFi puts your network, security cameras, and door access in one ecosystem you can manage from a single app. For most homes and small-to-midsize businesses, that means:
- One dashboard for Wi-Fi, switching, cameras, and doors
- No mandatory per-camera cloud fees — UniFi Protect records locally to hardware you own
- Business-grade performance at a price that makes sense for homes, restaurants, and offices
- Easy to expand — add an access point, camera, or door later without starting over
UniFi isn't the right fit for every project, and we'll tell you if it isn't. But for most of the spaces we work in, it's the best balance of performance, cost, and ease of use.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are you an official Ubiquiti partner?
We're an independent low-voltage contractor. We install UniFi because it's what we trust on real jobs — and our work speaks for itself.
How much does a UniFi installation cost?
It depends on the size of the space, how many access points, cameras, or doors you need, and how hard the cable runs are. After a site survey, you get a line-item quote so you can see — and adjust — every part of the price.
Do UniFi Protect cameras need a monthly subscription?
No mandatory subscription is required for local recording. Footage is stored on your own UniFi hardware. Optional cloud features may carry fees from Ubiquiti; we'll explain any that apply.
Can you install UniFi hardware I already bought?
Yes. We can install and configure gear you've already purchased. We'll check that it's the right equipment for the space during the survey.
Can you fix or take over an existing UniFi setup?
Yes. We regularly clean up and reconfigure existing UniFi networks — fixing coverage gaps, messy wiring, and settings that were never finished.
We already have a different camera or access system. Can you help?
Yes. Whether you're on an older DVR system or another platform, we'll look at what you have and give you an honest recommendation — upgrade, migrate to UniFi, or keep what works.
Is Wi-Fi 7 worth it?
Sometimes. It depends on your devices and how you use the network. We'll recommend Wi-Fi 6, 6E, or 7 based on what will actually make a difference for you. Read: Is Wi-Fi 7 ready for homes and businesses?
Do you offer support after the install?
Yes — optional managed support for monitoring, updates, and expansion. You own your system and admin accounts either way.
Do you work in NYC apartments and co-ops?
Yes. We plan around building rules and work carefully in finished spaces.
